Default Pro Tools 11 mac install

I am installing pro tools 11 on my Macbook pro. My operating system is a OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 I just ran the installer and it is not showing up in my application dock or in my applications folder. I uninstalled pro tools manually and reinstalled it. It did not show up again. I have Ilok installed with my pro tools license as well. Am i missing something here?

Silly question ...have you set the security settings "Allow Apps Downloaded from"..."Mac App Store And Identified Developers" to "Anywhere"?
If you don´t do that it simply will not be installed on your Mac. But there´s another thing...there´s no version of PT11 which is even compatible
with 10.10.4! Check it out there.

The latest version of PT11 which is 11.3.1 is only compatible with 10.10.2 or 10.10.3 at the max. Prior versions of PT11 even do only work with
earlier versions of OS X.
So you may rather install PT12 on your machine or roll back your OS X. And do not forget to change the security settings while installing your stuff.
You can put it back when it´s all finished. Once installed it will run anyway but you will have to change the setting each time you install anything on
your system. But maybe you know that already.

Hope you get it solved finally. Cheers.
