Having hard time mixing !
Hi im mixing a project that i recorded for a people here in PR. There is a LOT of error like the drum kit was not the best, The singer yell a LOT and the arrangements are not the BEST ! You may think well change the kit , tell the singer...blah blah blah.... The truth is the poeple is the type of we know what we are doing ! And with that said YOU KNOW ! Aside from a rather lousy lead singer and it being a low quality mp3 file, it's really not all that bad of a mix.
You could move the piano and rhythm electric guitar out of the center (pan one a bit left, pan the other a bit right - not 100%, just get them out of center and unmuddy things a bit.). Possibly the solo at the end as well, but the vocals get out of the way quickly enough. Other than that and some good mastering, it'd sound really good. |
