Default Trasher 11, PT utility for Windows users

Just wanted to give a heads up that a build is ready for PT 11 and 10.3.5+

This build is put together for the co-install environment of 10.3.6+ and 11.

Trasher 10.5 also received an update (build 5.7) which serves PT 10.3.5+

To add to the confusion a bit, The functionality of either build is the same inside of PT 10.3.5-10.3.7

But if you are NOT running PT 11, It is easier to deal with the 10.5 build of Trasher.

ALSO: 11 does not support a 32 bit OS. If you are running PT10 on a 32 bit OS, you must use Trasher 10.5

A direct link is here to the page that contains the notes and builds. My signature also contains a link to a different thread.....yea I know.......that contains every build of Trasher supporting PT 7 to current.

Feel free to leave questions or comments here specific to 11 here and if you could direct any inquiries about 10 to here

Just wanted to throw out an "atta boy" to guitardom for this great app. I was having a problem with PT 11 switching between ASIO4ALL and my RME UFX interface properly. As soon as Trasher 11 came out, I put a hunch to the test to use it to clear my prefs and it solved the problem. Now I have a work around until Avid can get the interface issue resolved.

Thanks again for this great app!!!

The full explanation is in this thread if anyone is interested:

I'm trying to install Trasher 11 on Windows 7 64 bit.

I unzipped TRASHER 11.zip to my Desktop. That produced a folder called Data on my desktop. I opened that, ran the installer TRASHER 11 Installer.exe contained within, and clicked New Install, but got an error "The TRASHER 11 folder cannot be found".

Have also tried copying TRASHER 11 Installer.exe and the TRASHER 11 folder direct to my desktop and running the installer from there, but with the same result.

Am I doing something stupid?

Thanks!

Hello,

It seems there is a variable with different extraction programs. I will work on it when I can get some time.

If you have a problem, after extraction, drag the Trasher 11 folder into your Documents. The folder hierarchy in your Documents should be:
Documents>Trasher 11>App Files>Backups 10/11

If you navigate through the folders a couple levels, you will find a folder called .exe. Hold down control and drag (copy) the .exe onto your desktop or taskbar.
