Default Can I control Pro Tools with an Ipad

New to the Forum but I have a question and Hope somebody can help.

I'm A novice pro tools guy and looking for advice. I have a digi 002 rack running with an Imac and I want to know if there a way of controlling pro tools and Imac with an Ipad or iphone. I have a control room that has the imac and pro tools gear in it and I want to be able to control that stuff while being in the live sound room. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Neyrinck application that makes your iPad essentially a HUI device. All you need is wireless connection between your PT workstation and your iPad. And naturally the Neyrinck app

Try V Control. There's a free version to test it out, the full featured app is $50. Very much worth it, imo, its works very well!

I've been using Air display. It turns you ipad into an extra monitor that you can also use as a touchscreen. Drag you plugin or whatever you want to control onto it, and you have a touchscreen controller for anything that will fit in a 1024x768 window (or 2048x1536 if you use the retina resolution!).
