Default 888/24 IO levels screwed up

Hi all,

Probably a real stupid question, I am running PT 5.0.1 Mix with a 888/24 IO.

I played with the level pods to raise the volume on the front of the 888 and now when I turn on the 888 and the levels come up they are all uneven is there a simple tool in PT that resets the 888 to the original setting? If not what should they be set to when the 888 boots up, or does that mean anything.

Thanks,
RJ

-Since the calibration of the 888 series interfaces involves physically adjusting pots, there is no software utility that can reset the unit.

-When you power on the unit, I don't think that the initial meter spike of your 888/24 is any indication of the way its calibrated.

-If you are concerned with the calbration of your interface, follow the calibration mode instruction in the Pro Tools TDM Hardware Installation Guide.
