HD I/O cards sequence/layout
Hi,
I own an HD I/O with following cards: - 8ch analog In - 8ch analog Out - 8ch digital I/O plugged in this order: foto.jpg Besides PTHD11, I'm using the HD I/O as audio interface with Logic Pro X (via HDX) as well. LPX needs the main stereo out to be the channels 1-2 of the interface, but actually HDX passes the analogue I/O ch 1-2 to LPX as channels 1-2 (over the 16 I/O channels which are passed through HDX driver). Should I swap the positions of the digital I/O card with the analog Input card in order to have HDX passing the digital ch 1-2 as first and second channels to Logic X (so they become main "Stereo Out" in LPX)? Is there any specific position sequence for the expansion boards? Or I can I just swap them without problems? Thank you for your replies. Maxx |

Re: HD I/O cards sequence/layout
Don't change the cards. Your I/O settings and Hardware setting should get you the combo you need.

Re: HD I/O cards sequence/layout
Agreed... No need to change...In your CoreAudio Application make sure that the outputs are leading to the right output for Logic...
