Default Re: Genelec 5.1?

Sorry for the delay in my response.

I moved to another space, which is a totally different shape room. I guess my old studio wasn’t that bad with acoustics.

I have corrected my setup a few times now, with the Genelec guides, which are indeed good. Quite a few measures with Sonarsworks and after some tweaking now I’m more satisfied. I only have a 100hz peak on one side, but when I bypass Sonarworks, I hardly notice any difference.
I also took the time to listen longer in this new corrected setup and I’m happy with the performance now.
I might even get 2 more 8020’s for 7.1 and maybe an Atmos Setup.

Great!

Its quite an additional investment, but the 83X1s are worth every penny for LCR. Depth, clarity, punch, with none of the fatigue that I experience with 83X0s.

Yeah those 83X1s sound incredible indeed, but indeed a big investment.. Haven't listened to the 8300 series yet, so can't comment on them.
