Default Controlling Battery with Oxygen 8

Hey,
My midi skills are not up to par, and I need to control battery (studiocollection) in Pro Tools with the Oxygen so i dont have to draw everything in on the midi tracks which takes up my time, and is why I bought this controller.

Can someone please give me an exact step by step to doing this. I would really appreciate it.

And p.s. in reference to another post on this board, the BIG Rock music is coming back, trust me.

Thanks

create an aux and a midi track.
open an input for battery. select
battery as your output on your
MIDI track. press rec'd enable to
'arm' the track.

If you have OMS configured
correctly this should do it. Try it.
Are you using the controller
with any other programs or
have you used it before?
You don't need to do anything else.
Is your question an OMS
question?

No, I configured it in OMS, and its not being used with any other programs. When I do a test in oms, the midi info is recieved by the oxygen, but when I try to use it in protools with battery on an aux, and a midi track with the battery data on it, nothing is happening when I hit the keys on the controller. I have the output of the midi channel set to battery, should the input of it be set to the controller? cause when I did that, it still wasnt workin.

Thanks

On your MIDI track
you set the output
to the instrument
you want to control.
So you would set it
to battery. Be sure to
rec'd enable the MIDI
track. OMS is a pain
to set up I know. Sounds
like your OMS is correct
though...
