Midi Port not listed
I hope someone can help!
I had my midi working just fine and after installing a few programs (updated coreaudio, toast, etc.) i can't get my midi working again. I am using a fastlane usb midi interface, port A. When I try to assign port A on the channel, the midi device is not listed nor listed under midi>input devices. However, Port B that is not being used - IS LISTED!~... All of my connections have been checked and double checked. I even tried to reinstall the software that came with the FastLane. I'm not sure what else to try. The only thing i can think of is that protools assumes that port A is being used by another program. I even tried changing connections and midi set up to Port B. This caused Port A to display as a midi input device, but Port B was no longer listed. I've searched all over and asked everyone i knew. Even had someone come over and try to fix it, but couldn't. ANY IDEAS??????? Please help. Thanks! |
