PT not functioning???
We have a problem with the PT 5.1.
There is a Message - "Pro Tools hardware is either not installed or used by another program" Can anyone helps???

i have had this problem with le. go to the digidesign control panel and make sure that the mac sound out is not set to play on digi hardware. also go into preferences and trash dae prefs and digisetup, then restart. you will not lose any setup data. hope this helps

Setting the Mac output to internal instead of Digi-out solves the problem here also.
