I am running Pro Tools 12.5, and have been since it first came out. My software updates and support plan expired almost 4 years ago. I went onto my Avid Product page for the first time in a long time, and on it I saw this: "Pro Tools $29.99 1-Year Subscription, Paid Monthly." Does that mean what I think it means? Is it $29.99 for a year? Is it $29.99 monthly? Even monthly, that's a deal, but I copied it here exactly as it read on my Product page. It's confusing to me. Ya know, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Thanks for helping me understand this.

And if you stop paying it stops working hence a Subscription.

29.99 a month is a good deal if you dont need to own a perp license.
