MC Artist Control and zoom Issue

Hello,
I am using Artist control with PT Ultimmate 2018.10 latest EUCON Version as well. Mac Os 10.13

What bothers me is that when I want to use the horizontal zoom function with the wheel,very often the zoom goes straight to maximum and wont change unless I turn the wheel VERY gently. I am almost under the impression that it's gotten worse over the time.

Is this something others are seeing as well? Any clever fix?

I quite like to wheel to zoom in and out.
