Default Plugin root folder????

Where is the correct plugs and plugs root folder?
What the "WORLD" is it with all the folders. I know i have a gang of plugs, but i think i have like 4 DAE folders each containing it's own plug and plug pre folder.. Which one is the correct folder? I was thinking of coping everything to one folder. And,,,,,,,,,

whats up with the roots setting? I select it, but it will not show the presets. But it will let me import the presets with no problems.

Thanks Protoolians for the planet IGID-DIVA

The correct plug-ins folder is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins. It's the only one you need. I'm not sure about the roots setting????

yooooooo......peep. I got it working like i want. I copied all the Plugs from all the other folders and put them in one folder. same with the Presets. Working great. But one thing........... my C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins folder is NOW empty cause I copied all to C:\Program Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins. deleleted PREF, restated and "Bammmm....... kick it up a db"
