Default Pro Tools crashing on swapping channels around
Anyone with the same problem...and a solution?
If I want to rearrange the channel order, protools quits (every time).
I'm working on Yosemite lately since El Capitan is unworkable due Gui lag.

Anyone? Latest protools.. even updated every single plugin I have, to the latest version... drives me nearly crazy.

Sounds like a graphics issue to me. I assume playback is stopped when you do this? Does it happen in both MIX and EDIT windows? How many screens?

Indeed, I swap the channels when playback is stopped... On the question how many screens... 3 in total (two 4k 28 inch screens & one 42 inch sony TV)

I will try tomorrow if it happens in both mix or edit... usually I swap only in the mix screen.

might need to go back to mav osx if possible having the latest and greatest osx does not mean protools is going to run super smooth!

Thats why I have 2 operating systems on my mac... going back to maverick? no it seems silly to have 1 system with 3 os'es installed.

Both os'es have there own problems... El Capitan and PT 12.4 is unusable due to the gui lag, Yosemite an PT12.4 is just working fine for me except for swapping channels.
I found out, rearranging the channels in mix screen gets protools to quit... the same rearranging in edit screen gives no problem.
So I can work around the problem for now.
