Default Cursor/Playback - NOT Link Timeline - maybe?

Hi All,

I've got an issue which doesn't look right, so may be a bug...

My playback is not starting form the cursor. It isn't 'link timeline...' related. I don't thiiiink...

If I create a selection, it plays the selection.
If I then try to click a new start point, the cursor moves but playback begins from the beginning of the selection, that isn't still selected.
If I toggle Dynamic Transport it works fine and I can select my start points as before. This is what I'm currently doing, but why did it change?!

See this vid for example...
