Nope
Recording keeps me busy enough I don't have to do post work.

Loading a kit in Battery 4 also crashes, but I haven't found any other instruments from NI or anyone else that misbehave. There might be other plugins besides RX Connect that causes the crash, but haven't found any yet, including other plugins from the RX suite.

Have reported it back to NI tech support, the case has been going on for many months. A huge breakthrough I think and hope. It explains why its routine for me and almost no-one else, RX Connect window is nearly always open for me on any rig, but that's a me thing!

EDIT - just to add, I tested on Mac and its fine, this is a Windows-only bug.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for reporting this. Was bitten by this this week and couldn't figure out what was causing it.
Fantastic to know the workaround.

CHEERS!
Andrew

What would Nexus have to do with Kontakt crashing? No problems here with the latest Kontakt.

BTW Kontakt 6 is NOT yet compatible with Monterey.

Yes I wondered why that was in this thread. But it did prompt me to see if they ever fixed the bug of this thread, 2 years later.

Answer - no. At least K5 still crashes with RX Connect 9 open in Windows. K6 (latest version) also still crashes, but not on every patch - was fine on the first one I tried, crashed on the 2nd one. Guess all parties involved just passed the buck and no-one did anything.

Well it hasn't been a problem for me in the past 2 years because I always close RX Connect before loading anything in Kontakt. That workaround is 100% successful.

FWIW I do have Nexus 3 so just tried that - behaving normally here.

As a TV dubbing mixer, I still get a kick out of this question all these years later.
