Default Master fader question, assigning groups

Is there a way to assign a group to a master fader, so it only effects that paticular group? I have drum tracks that I want to be ''Telephoned''(EQ). But it effects all the tracks, and I have seven drum tracks so If I put the same plug-in on every single track I will be taking up alot of CPU. I don't want to audiosuite it 'cause im not done EQing it and im not even sure how much of the song is going to be EQed etc. and the drum part may change. Any help?

Can't you buss them to a stereo aux track, I wouldn't think it would have to be a master fader. Then put your EQ on the stereo aux track.

when you do this make sure you dont just buss the tracks but select the aux as their out put otherwise you'll here both the signal before and after the aux

Also make sure you solo safe the aux (ctrl+click on the solo button on the aux) so if you have to solo a track (or more) from that group, it doesn't mute the aux with the rest of the tracks and you can still hear it.

Yeah DOC, the only reason I knew that trick was because I stole it from you...

My biggest "bad habit" is spending all of my money on gear! (or construction supplies...)
