All right! I'm in at lucking number 8! Will there be a category for the least amount of talent while still having the nerve to step up to the front of the stage and wail?

My music teachers always taught me never to apologize for lack of talent (its given by God and not evenly distributed) and never be shy about doing what you need to do. Music is a journey not a destination. Certainly some will be further along on the path then others...

Thanks for the opportunity to step up to the mic!

It sounded great! I remember the first time I played on stage, I was so nervous and worried about what people were going to think... it's pointless. What you did is more than 99% of the world could do... keep it up!

I totally agree. I meant for this thread to showcase what talent is around here. I know we're not all writing, producing and engineering our own stuff. We're all using PTLe but sometimes for very diverse stuff. This is just one way to get some of the hidden artists and those that aren't so hidden to strut their stuff.

I must have been listening to the wrong entry then ... #8 sounds good to me and you took a different direction with tone and theme. Well done!

I just listened to some of these, and there sure is some fine guitar playing on this song. Good idea, Darren...

Hey Jeff! Welcome aboard! I wonder out of the 850+ views of this thread how many lurkers out there are going to drop a solo on this? I really like hearing all of these entries. Can't wait until the critique/voting portion of the "contest" ...
