Ok, well maybe I should consider making that move to Mojave since I haven't heard any bad reports of it yet. albeit Ill do a lil research and back up an image of my internal first. I've been holding off for a while... thanks for responding Chris

Also try to disable hyperthreading. That helps a lt.

Mind you, yesterday while working I had a 6101 error. And just found out there was an Ilok app manager update (that trigs errors, thats a real issue Avid and ilok have to solve).
I also set an alarm to trash prefs once a week, and another to look for ilok app manager upadates.
