Midi Editing Grouped Instrument Tracks
I'm liking the new midi Pro Tools 8 except for this one thing.
In all of the Pro Tools 7 versions, I was able to perform edits on patches I had stacked together from my Triton and my Motif Rack. I was able to group them and edit them at the same time. In Pro Tools 8, I stacked the sounds I usually use and recorded them but, I have to edit them one by one. I was used to editing them together in a group but, because of the functionality of the Midi Editor and the slightly upgraded Edit page on the Instrument tracks, editing is more of a pain. Of course the simplest work around is/was to record one of the instrument tracks, edit the track and then copy it to another track. But, i'm used to hearing my stack when I record. It's the spoiled brat crying out saying, "Is there a way to make it so I can edit my two sounds as a group?". |
