Post related Fetures in PT 11 software

I'm currently on 8.0.4LE and thinking of upgrading to 11 for $399 (crossgrade?).
Wondering if PT11 had timecode?
Is there an automation snapshot shortcut "ctrl+/" ?
And what kind of sorround tracks and mixing ability features are there in 11 software?
Will it work with 003 Rack?

If anyone knows some first hand knolage, it would be very helpful.

Since v.9, "regular" Protools (non HD) has included virtually all the features that used to be in the DV Toolkit. So that includes timecode, OMF/AAF import/export, etc.

However, it does not allow more than one video track (DV toolkit used to allow this).

As for surround features, these used to be in the Complete Production Toolkit, but that has been discontinued.

So the only way now to get surround capability is to buy an HD system.

But the basic Protools will still give you timecode.


And yes, the 003 is compatible with PT11.
