Default Slow down sound?

Ok, I know there is vari-fi to slow down or speed up sound. But I am looking for a little more control. Is there anything like vari that can slow down and speed up sound? I am trying to slow something down but not have it get slower as the line happens. I want it to sound like slow motion from the first word to the end. I am sorry if this make no since but any help would be nice.

pitch shift without the "time correction" button checked? If you're looking for the same pitch, but slower, TCE and elastic audio can work pretty well.

Two ways off the top of my head that might work. First, try Elastic audio in "Varispeed" Mode. As you stretch each marker, the audio within will slow down.

Second, Speed by Soundtoys has a graph that you can use to draw in how you want something to slow down and change pitch. It's audiosuite though, so you have to print it.

Also, i believe Serato's Pitch 'N Time can do the same thing, but I've never played with it.

Pitch 'n Time Pro is what you want. You can draw in pitch changes.

+1 for Pitch-N-Time Pro. Very nice.

Also the other plugins that do 'basically' the same things are Speed by Sound Toys, and Sound Shifter by Waves. All have the same type of graphical interface. PnT isn't cheap, but a very very useful plugin...
