Default Thanks for all 26i/o @44.1 on the 2626

This is what I am hearing according to user reports. Please make it official:

Pro Tools M-Powered version 8 supports all 26 inputs and outputs simultaneously at 44.1 and 48KHz on the M-Audio Profire 2626.

If this is true, now that you made it public on Digi's forum, I can guarantee it will be bumped back down to 18 I/O in the next cs update.

The ProFire 2626 continues to support up to 18 simultaneous I/O with Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.

...Owwwkay....

So digi in the past has used the ambiguity of the word "support" liberally..."Not supported" can mean either "it will not work no matter what you do" or "we aren't offering tech support if you do that, but it often does work."

So 2626 users, what is it? I have seen screenshots that look very promising...

Very smart.

Pro Tools 7.3 accidentally supported full 32 i/o on the Profire Lightbridge. This "bug", however, has been fixed rather quickly back then.

If there's a cat-and-mouse game going on between the developers and the management I have to say it's RIDICULOUS and they should grow up and cut it out.

Give the customers everything they paid for and shut up.
