Frank, my congreatulations to you!
...I was not excited about the book when I read it 12 years ago (perhaps I was too young for this book).
But I really enjoyed the movie. And you, Frank made the story working for me in a better way.
Very clever and hi-end sound design!

All the best from Tel Aviv,

Michael Goorevich

"Did you do your work at the Bavaria?"
I asked Frank the same question a few months ago;
here is the response I got:

Cinemedia/Bavaria-Film Studio A Munich.
Mixers: Matthias Lempert & Michael Kranz
Console MPC4D with Ixis

Yes the mix was done at Bavaria.

Foleys done at our Studio in Berlin. I had to move my equipment from Berlin to Munich where we worked next door to the editor and the composers.

Dialogue was edited in London at Reelsound. ADR was recorded in London , LA, Berlin, Munich and other cities.

Music was recorded at Teldex-Studio in Berlin with the Berlin Philharmonic and parts were recorded even before Tom started shooting. Reinhold Heil finalized the mix at his Studio in Santa Barbara.

Congrats!!!!

(sorry for writing german...)
