Cant seem to get my Mbox 2 to work with my iMac

Having trouble with getting my mbox 2 to be recognized by my iMac.
Im running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Intel)
i have the second generation mbox 2
I use Pro Tools LE 7.

These did work at one point, but just recently had my internal hd crash.
I tried to install pro tools and nothing works. went back to digidesign for support and i cant find nothing. Any suggestions or answers would be appreciated.
