tab to transients shortcut.

Seen a few posts here asking what the tab to transients shortcut is, not too sure if ita been answered yet.

I love this shortcut though.

It is: control + Alt + Tab Key

It was a newer shortcut added in 7.4 I beleive.

Peace

Steve,

you should share with everybody your custom keyboard shortcuts you made from the mac OS system Preferences (keyboard and Mouse button). You showed me that one about two years ago and I have a bunch now. I hate to trash preferences now though.

ProTools 7.4 MIDI note pasting rules.
When pasting a MIDI note next to a trigger track, the MIDI track must be positioned below the trigger track. Create the first MIDI note with the pencil tool, and copy to the clip board. Switch the MIDI track view to Regions and pull out the right side of the MIDI region to cover the length of the song. Switch back to Notes view. Tab the cursor to the first trigger you wish to paste a MIDI note at. Shift click the MIDI track so that the cursor spans both tracks. Command+V to paste the MIDI note. Tab twice and paste again, etc. (V key). This does not work with MIDI Instrument tracks.

Here is a great dashboard widget for Mac users. Converts all types of audio stuff.
