Default need help with Xpand!

Hello, I installed Xpand!, but I can't figure out how to open it in a pro tools session. It does not appear in the plug-in list. Thanks.

System info please and also tell us how you are trying to insert it, mono or stereo channel or instrument input?

I have pro tools LE 7.3, and I run it on a mac osx. I tried creating both audio and instrument tracks, in both stereo and mono. I can't find the plug-in in any of the lists, including audiosuite. However, I do see the Xpand! file on my computer's drive, I just can't find it in a session. Thanks again.

It won't be in audiosuite - it's RTAS only. Are you looking under Instruments in the plug-in drop down on the insert of an Instrument or Aux track?

And which version of OS X are you running? Did you actually read the Xpand! guide or the section in the Pro Tools Reference Guide on using plug-ins?

It doesn't come up under instruments in the RTAS, I only considered Audiosuite because of this. I didn't try making an aux track, so I will try this now. I read the plug-in guide, I had no problem hooking up reason, which appears in the instruments section of the RTAS. But, I'm going to give the plug-in guide another read. Thanks again.

Again, which version of OS X are you running?

Did you install the latest update of Xpand! available on our website? (Products>Plug-Ins)

I'm just curious if you don't mind. I have never used anything like this, I've read through the pdf manual for Xpand, and I assume you must have a MIDI keyboard to create the sounds with? I just play guitar and was trying to figure out how to get it to work- I guess I can't play my guitar through it.

YES!! I downloaded the update and it works! Thank you guys for helping me, though I know I could have provided better detail or been more educated on my manuals. I am new to this forum, next time I will list my equipment. Thank You, I can't wait to use Xpand!, this thing looks extremely useful.
