Most know we dont use many plugins but I have to say that the SSL bundle is soo good I have a hard time hearing the difference between our SSL CONSOLE and the Buscomp in the console and our SSL Buscomp in a 500 rack! Purchased UC1/UF8 when they first came out and i agree, the plugs are stellar. Haven't used another channel strip since. Never A/Bd with hardware though. We have a vintage SSL FXG384 comp which i'll get around to comparing when we cable that rack to the patchbay but meantime, if i may ask, which console did you compare the plugs to? Really curious! I seem to have 2 versions. V6 and 2. The 2 looks better.

V6 is older. 2 was released last year. They both sound good. I guess you'll find details on their site. There was a big change in the GUI.
