Default I/o recording set up

All of a sudden when i arm a track in protools 11.3 to record, the green light signal does not show up in the track. I can see the signal in the interface. Please help me . Thanks
im using protools 11.3
focusrite saffire pro 40
mac mini

Do you mean it records audio with no meter Movement, or the track is blank? Check your routing(Input assignment).

no sir iys not recording audio or vocals
if your looking at the mix board and lets say you enable track 1 to record.
usually you get the green signal light on the track that lets you know its armed. well my system is not doing that.

i checked my imput and it seemed right but i'll check it again

were you using HD and now Not using HD ??? the green light is the Input Monitoring Light that is on every audio track but Only in HD ..

or am i crazy ?? i have no Green Light here in PT vanilla ...

Not crazy, just looking in the wrong place. Check the Transport window. Green light will illuminate when Input Only Monitoring is enabled. Works in both vanilla and HD.

True, but this isn't record and will not record any audio. What happens if the "red light" is ON?
