Default Total RTAS Integration in development for Eventide H8000FW!!!

I just spoke to Eventide and look what they are working on. A similar Concept to the Access Virus TI where the hardware does the sound engine processing through USB, and you pull up the RTAS plug-in in either send or insert configuration.... only this one will be over firewire!!!!

Will be available in RTAS format only!!!!! YAY!!!

Well, one would assume its going to be a free update because this is similar to Access Music germany where the Virus Control RTAS Plug-in is included with the Virus TI so that you can stream it in this manner over USB.

Otherwise, i cannot imagine that the plug-in would be anything more than $200. Surely unfair, for HK owners, but still worth the addition considering the cost of an HK.

Eventide H8000FW manual says SMUX is possible... but there is not two ADAT outputs for that, only an ADAT in and an ADAT out.

Those signals have to be combined with two optical cables, do they not?
