Default PT 8 LE: Windows Vista Memory Loss

Someone please Help!

I am using Pro Tools LE 8 ~ MBOX 2 Mini

Everytime I bounce to disc I get an error that says the PC is low on memory and that I should increase buffer size.

I increase the buffer size then the bounce still fails - due to memory loss!

PC:

• Intel (R) Pentium D CPU 2.80GHZ
• 4 Gigs of Ram
• Dedicated Firewire Hard Drive - 1 terabyte

The song has 7 tracks with auz tracks fr each track

Each aux tracks has plugins & effects for the corresponding tracks.

Should I not be adding the plugins to the aux files? Should I be applying them directly to the tracks themselves?

I ask because I did that first and Pro Tolls froze alot!

Please Help!

Your Pentium D is not a lot of CPU for PT8. That being said there are likely other issues that could be looked into.
Please go to the "Help us help you" thread. and follow the instructions on posting a Sandra report on your system.
