Can\'t open Bounced protools\".wav\" file in Cubase
Hi,when i bounce to disk a mix in protools free and then try to open that .wav stereo file in cubase, cubase just hangs and pc needs reboot. However... if i open the file in soundforge and then save it in soundforge it says:"extra data in wav file do you want to save it to new wav"(not exact words but that's the meaning of it)so... if i say no, i'm able to open the file in cubase.
Question : is there a way to bounce the file in protools and not get all that extra data in the file so that it can be read in cubase ? tia. |

Re: Can\'t open Bounced protools\".wav\" file in Cubase
Try choosing Setups>Preferences>Compatibility and see if you have "AES31/Broadcast Wave" enabled; this option, when checked, allows you to export additionnal info along w/ your wave files.
