fade file in the wrong hard drive
Hi, I just got a new 5.1 mixing studio with PT HD 9 and a HD OMNI, recently my MEDIA internal hard disk was getting a little shorter for my necesites, and I got a new internal hard drive called HD RAID with 4T, now I'm working with my PT sessions in the HD RAID hard drive but everytime I import an audio file or made a fade, those new file would go a fade file folder in the MEDIA disk.
Does anyone know what do I have to do to have the new created files in the same hard drive, primalary the HD RAID always. Best regards, r |

Re: fade file in the wrong hard drive
RAID HD configurations aren't supported with Pro Tools. Get rid of the RAID and your problem will go away. It's putting the files on other disks because it sees the RAID drive as an unsupported volume so it then goes to find the first supported volume it can and that's where it will put the files.

Re: fade file in the wrong hard drive
First off PT's does not support using RAID drives.
Secondly to address the issue of where fades end up, you do that through disk allocation. under the set up menu |

Re: fade file in the wrong hard drive
since I change disk allocation I haven't had the same problem, maybe pt9 has solve the hd raid unsupported stuff.
