Upgrading the touch screen glass
So, I was wondering if it were possible to upgrade the touch screen glass in my MC Control. The logic here is since they put such cheap glass in the unit, that by finding an installing better quality touch screen glass, the "mod" might make it actually work as it should! Is this doable?

Re: Upgrading the touch screen glass
Just changing out the glass will not make it perform the way you are expecting, which is I assume like an iPad or modern tablet. It's a different type of technology entirely.

Thanks, I was afraid that that would be the case.

Re: Upgrading the touch screen glass
Touchscreen on the MC Control is 2000's tech and won't hold a candle for today's cellphones or tablets.
Workaround: tap with your fingernails or get one of those pens for touchscreen - or anything with a rubber tip will do.
