Default Propellerhead Reason as instrument issues.

I've used Reason as an instrument plug-in in PT for quite some time, but I've been getting some issues recently. Reason won't open properly and I'll get the pinwheel of death. I'll have to force quit Reason, and often times PT as well. I thought it might be an update issue so I got on the newest versions. That has actually seemed to made the problem worse. Both programs work just fine independently from each other. Any clues as to what's happening?

PT 2020.9.1
Mac Pro (late 2013)
OS Catalina 10.15.6
16GB 1866 MHz DDR3
Reason 10.4.1d4 (build 10,700)
