Pro Tools 6 with Mix Hardware on a Mac 9600 with OS10.3

I'm putting together a retro PT Mix system. I've read that Pro Tools 6 is supported only on G4 towers with AGP video, but can anybody tell me if PT 6 works on a Mac 9600/Sonnet 1Ghz G4 (they're PCI video) running OS 10.3 Panther?

My optimal plan for this machine is:
Mac 9600/Sonnet 1Ghz G4
Start Up Disc 1 - OS9.1, Pro Tools 5.1
Start Up Disc 2 - OS10.3, Pro Tools 6
Mix+3
SampleCell TDM (I know it doesn't work with OSX/PT6)
Orangelink Firewire Card

Getting OSX on any beige mac is a little unorthodox, do a google search for xpostfacto. My experience was it wasn't worth it on a beige G3, but with a G4 upgrade in the 9600 you might be able to get enough speed out of it. But if your serious about running OSX I would look at g4 mdd or quicksilver towers, they have a lot more expandability since they have built in gigabit ethernet, USB and firewire as well as more ram capabilty, faster and more internal HD ports, etc.
