Default Xpand ! very cool

Went to Namm yesterday and got Xpand, the new FREE Synth from Digi.
Installed it today and began checking it out, and it's really quite good.
Thanks, Digi, perhaps you'll add more, and soon I won't miss those Logic synths.

Thanks,
Tommy

don΄t know if it΄s allowed but could you send load it up with "yousendit"? perhaps you can zip as much as possible... would be great if its allowed...

at "yousendit.com" it would really be easy for you to load it up, then you could type in the recipients email-adress. if it΄s up, i΄ll receive a message that i can download it from yousendit...

would really be great... how big is the content of the cd/s - dvd΄s????

thnx!

Are they better than logic synths, they are as good as Logic synths , should I sell my mini moog? No.
My first impression on Xpnad is you get alot of cool sounds with just the right amount of tweeking for a Synth that is
Free, it is really good on RTAS processing, you'll be able to use multiple instances, with no problem. I ran 4 Xpand, 2 Atmosphere,
1 Stylus RMX with 7 multiple outs, no problem on a Dual G4 1.8ghz giga design Quicksilver with 1.5 meg of Ram. Indigo
is much more tweek able, and it's TDM only. If Digi continues this Process of adding cool synths and processing plugs as free
add ons to Pro Tools,I think the Logic user will be very pleased, an perhaps consider Pro Tools as their main rig, but having said that
Pro tools still has a way to go as far as midi is concerned, and I'd love to be able to print out a quick notation lead sheet, rather than having to export the midi file into Logic, DP, or Finale. That for me is a real time killer.

Peace,
Tommy

first digidesign could comment if it would be illegal. then i΄d like to know how big that "xpand-content" is...
perhaps then anybody would load it up anywhere... i΄d share it - if it΄s of course not illegal!!

greets

To thousands of users -- I don't think so!

Besides it's a great marketing tool to get you into the Digidesign Reseller's location where perhaps you'll buy something else.
