DB 25 Cables

Hi, quick question from a Pro Tools newbie!

Just setting up my new system:
Want to route signal from Apogee DA-16 to ProControl via DB25.
Does the Digi-cable (DB25 - DB 25R) work,
or are there any compatibility issues between the Apogee and ProControl??
