Default S3 and Max 7

I know this forum is mostly about S3 and Pro Tools, But I think you can help me with this.

I have the S3 thing and it have some beautiful features that I would like to use to spatialize sound with a Max 7 patch.

I have enable Max 7 in the EUCON app as an Mackie control surface.

Maybe is because of my ignorance, but Midi messages sent by S3 are not the normal way Midi messages are there is only a value number (i.e. 127 or 13) with no controller and channel number thing that makes the access to different parts of the surface really difficult.

Could anyone bring me some light to do this ?

Thank you in advance

Default Re: S3 and Max 7

Are you familiar with the Mackie Control Protocol?
Or do you expect Midi Control messages? This won't work...

The last time I tried my S3 in Mackie mode it was not working at all in combination with Reason.
If you don't have a proper functioning interpretation of the Mackie Protocol in Max you shouldn't use the S3 for testing. Try a Behringer BCF2000 first.
If you do have a working Mackie Protocol in Max do you mind sharing? I was working on a similar project but with the HUI protocol.
