Default RX6

When can we expect the upgrade pricing to be released? I'm guessing pretty soon, but if anyone has any insight to what their upgrade path's are going to cost that would be helpful. I'm really looking forward to using LAV de-rustle.

Hey

I heard a whisper that if you own RX5 it won't be more than MAX $199 or maybe even $99 as if you bought a new RX5 before april 19th the update from 5-6 is free so I wouldn't think they would screw over customers who have been using their plugins from versions before RX5

I think we do different work, we produce and record top20 american artists and once in a while maybe a TV series for swedish TV but 99% is music production and recording so we hardly ever needed RX features.

I do however see the greatness ith it though

Post and music have too little in common.
We are in post are literally movie makers. Those in music are roughly musicians.
We use sometimes same tools. But thats all. We are much closer to picture editors rather music producers.
While I can't leave without the RX Advanced, I don't use at all plugins like Slate, Softubes and other "colourful" stuff I bought once.

Post and music use the same tools but everything else is different. I literally had to start over as an assistant when I went into post after 25 years of engineering records. What's interesting is that post methodology helps my music work far more than music methodology helped my post work.

I got the recent free RX6 upgrade deal - anyone else got their licenses yet? Nothing in my account as yet.

Have downloaded as a trial though and done a few quick tests... extremely promising, I'd say....
