Error 7401 - solved
Just thought I'd share this:
I got this error -7401 when trying to instantiate the Korg Wavestation plugin. Searched around alot before I found a clue which led me to try the VST version. It turned out the VST version had been pulled out of the VST folder for some reason. Putting it back solved the problem - for the RTAS version! Korg Wavestation RTAS won't work without the VST version installed. This might very well be true for other plugins aswell.

Many thanks Ben ! I had the same issue with Spectrasonics plugins and was becoming nuts... so this applies to Stylus, Omnisphere and Trilian as well. I remember I thought some time ago it would be wise to delete the VST plugins and clean some disk space... Was I stupid !
