Default Are new versions of supported chipsets compatible?

Hello all!

I just purchased ProTools M-Powered 7, a Firewire 410, and am now in the process of shopping for a compatible computer to build my home studio. In trying to match everything up however, it looks like many of the chipsets and even computers listed on the compatibility webpage have been replaced by newer models.

For example, the nVidia nForce 4 is listed as compatible but has been replaced by the nForce 570, and supported sockets 754 and 939 have been replaced by socket AM2. Will the newer nForce 570 chipset and socket AM2 still be compatible?

Because I'm going to have the computer built specifically for recording with PTMP7, I really would like to get it right the first time so I don't have to go back and replace boards, drives, etc.

Here's the machine I've been looking at getting:

Velocity Micro Vision
Motherboard: Asus M2N SLI Deluxe w/nVidia nForce 570 SLI MCP, socket AM2
Processor: AMD 64 X2 3800+
RAM: 2048 MB Corsair DDR2 PC5300
Audio: Intek RealTek 7.1
HD (2): 250 GB Western Digital WD2500JD 7200 rpm SATA/150, 8 MB cache,
8.9 ms read seek, 10.9 ms write seek

Of course, there would be two hard drives--the system drive and a dedicated audio drive.

On paper, this machine looks like it should work, as long as the newer motherboard is still compatible. Any suggestions or can anyone identify parts listed that might cause problems with PTMP7?

Many thanks,
Erik
