Cool Lost iLok..Please help!

Lost my ilock...bad news...purchased a new one and have downloaded appropriate software from ilock website so it will except licenses. Now...dealing with Avid to transfer licenses. I haven't gotten a straight answer through email communication about how to transfer the licenses from Avid. I purchased the $20 transfer but no dice. What are the next steps? Any guidance would greatly be appreciated in getting back to using PT. with all my plugins.... whew.

You need to get with iLok for this, not Avid.

Did you have your ilok named on your insurance? If so, they will help you with the re-purchases of your software.

Hello,

You’ll need to contact our Avid Audio Customer Service Administration department and they will assist you. Typically, you will need an Avid Support Code for this concern, but if you purchased the transfer fee that may suffice.

To reach an administration representative call 650-731-6100. Select option #2. The representative there will be able to determine if additional fees or an Avid Support Code would apply.

Is 650-731-6100 valid even if calling from Italy ? I have the same problem but I am in Italy . Thanks for your help
