Default PTHD8 pencil tool

I started mixing a session today with quite a few clicks and pops in the vox tracks.....no problem I say.I grab PT8's pencil tool and draw out the clicks.Zoomed in the click was drawn out but as I zoomed out the freakin click spike visably returned onto the wave file and was audible again!I slowly zoom back in and the spike disapears.WTF! Who beta tested PT8???

Somebody else please confirm this for me on a Windows machine.

So far my only gripes are the false reading PT8 cpu gauge and this insane pencil tool issue.

My task managers cpu load reads on average 30% higher then PT8's and with testing my task managers is correct which puts PT8 gobbling up my resources about 20% more then 7.4 did.The beta testers sure failed bigtime imho.We need a cs update like yesterday!

My reply to you over here.

With some additional regression.

Two different meters, that monitor two different things.
