errrr 'Bounce to Video' is not a *new* feature, it's a long-running bug fix - i.e. it's been absent since Catalina.

I suppose I should be happy that at least 2019.6 works for me. I would like to try folder tracks someday though...

Best,

You're not the only one my suffering friend. Do I think it will ever get fixed? Nope. The programmers are incapable of fixing it (or they just don't give a rodent's posterior).

Do you also have a list of new bugs created in the process?

Anybody have any news on when a patch for 2020.9 might be ready?

Thanks,
Robert

I'm sure there are a number of us out there. After all, a functioning MIDI Event list is a DAW fundamental.

It's been at least 15 years since I used Pro Tools just for audio and Performer or Logic for MIDI. I'm not likely to do so again, and yet it's clear to me that they're still better for MIDI and Pro Tools is still better for audio all these years later.

Best,

Geoff

Actually Digital Performer's MIDI implementation isn't all that great either. You can't move blocks of notes around like you can in PT. Couple that with not having true instrument tracks and nope. I have DP 9.52 and been there/done that. Quoth the Raven: Nevermore

Yeah Avid said the next few days and they have it ready but need to test it properly so midweek would be my best guestimate!
