Default Cedar DNS on Catalina yet?

(Sorry for the cross-post, but I posted in the MacOS forum and no one responded....)

Any successfully using Cedar on Catalina yet?

I read elsewhere that it crashes on install, but still successfully installs.... but the manufacturer suggests it's unstable, and not officially supported.

Anyone have experience with it working in Catalina?

Using DNS One and Two on Catalina with no problems. I wasn't even aware there was an issue and bought after I upgraded!

On latest PT Ultimate.

Oh wow!
Is that really true Tom?
I have a brand new Mac Pro just sitting there waiting for Cedar to be qualified.
Are you sure there are no issues?
Sorry to pester but I'd love to get onto the new machine and Cedar is the only thing holding me up.

Yeah, I mean I don’t use it daily, but had about 6 instances at once of DNS One. Never on a mega session or anything, but not a single freeze or crash. Installed fine, and no warning signs that it’s a bit temperamental.

Yes, I use it daily on Catalina 10.15.5 and protools 20.5

Seems to work fine. My system is very stable.

Great, thanks guys.

I finally took the plung and bought it. DNS is running great on Catalina for me, too.

Although I did get the warning that the installer failed. I saw some other people report the same thing. Despite the installer saying it failed, the plugins actually did install, and they are running great!

BTW, I can’t believe I waited all there years to buy it. I love RX, but Cedar is magic on hiss. And I’m dealing with a ton on the show I’m on right now. Very happy.

Running great here. I am using about 20+ instances on a film mix and no crashes or anything strange happening.

Yep, double confirmation. Happily used DNS1 all week without a hitch. Works great.
