Protools perpetual to pro tools Ultimate*monthly
Hi,
Just wondering: I actually have a perpetual licence for non HD (or Ultimate) version cover untill march 2021. If now I want to go to Ultimate monthly subscription, and then no more standard version, what happen with the money I spend for one more year update (‘till march 2021) ? Will I lose it ? I have no straight answer for you, but I think you should contact Avid Support and tell them a) what you have and b) what you wish to buy next. Maybe they come up with a solution for the upsell that benefits you the most.

I got my answer: nothing, no offer, I would simply lose my investment.

Crap.
But you have active support plan which means you can sell the license and Avid has no problem with the TOO process, transfering the license to buyer's account.
