Digi 002 wont be detected by Pro Tools 2018.10.0

Hi guys, i literally just format and reinstall my mac computer and reopened a session that ive created before the format. Now for some strange reason, my Digi002 wont show either in the pro tools ''playback engine'' window or ''hardwares''. I dowloaded and installed the latest drivers (the same one i had about an hour ago) but my Digi002 is nowhere to be found. When i have that problem, i usually hold the ''N'' key while launching the software to select my digi002 and that works but not now.

Is there a way to manually add the machine somewhere on my Mac settings or Pro tools settings?

Oh why don’t you post this to a few more DUC sections, that is sure to get you help here... and when you do that you might provide some actually useful info like the exact OS you are running on, is it a 002 console or 002 rack, the exact driver/version, wether the device shows up in system profile, what lights are on, and what else you have changed recently, ...

I figured it out. While Pro tools got some useless drivers for the Digi002 or 003 that does not work, i decided to install the actual drivers that comes with the latest Pro tools version. Works PERFECTLY :)

Great you got things working, but your comment is hard to follow. There are no drivers included with Pro Tools any more. Many issues with the 002/003 family is folks installing drivers for the wrong family or product (e.g. 002 vs 003 or Rack vs. Console) or OS version. And with modern macOS possible driver signage issues.

When i downloaded and proceed to install Pro tools, a folder popped-up with Pro tools and a few other files that i can't recall but one of them was clearly called drivers. Double-clicked on it, installed, computer rebooted, ran Pro Tools then i had a big smile on my face
