Re: copying tracks
In your new session:
File menu/ import session data/ navigate to old session file document You'll be able to see the tracks available to import. Click each that you want to import. Top of that Dialogue box, you can check to maintain absolute time code values. (Not sure if the dialogue is slightly different in 7.3 as I'm in 7.4 now.)
