Slaving PT, why the limitation ?
Anyone know why Avid limits it’s DAW’s ability to slave itself from a Midi Beat Clock signal/device ? Though it only allows itself to be slaved via Midi Time Code, which is as archaic as SMPTE. lol
Seemingly, since simplistic older drum machines utilize MBC both ways (sending and receiving), then such a advanced daw as PT should be able to also receive MBC. It’s just bewildering.
